Virtual Interns
Tiffany Chan
Tiffany Chan was born in Canada, but she spent her childhood mostly in Hong Kong. She attended a local school, and then an international school. In her sophomore year, she decided to join the inaugural class of an American online high school, and she spent two years studying with friends from around the world. This experience truly expanded her horizon. She is currently pursuing a BA in Political Science and Russian Studies at University of Rochester. Her interest in Central Europe began by taking Russian classes last year. Although she picked the language randomly out of a list and initially regretted doing so (as I struggled with remembering vocabularies), she eventually fell in love with Slavic culture and languages. I hope that one day she can visit or study abroad in Central Europe and Russia. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, inventing recipes and trying them on her family and friends, and watching movies without sound.
Nicole DeMarco
Nicole DeMarco is from Syracuse, NY and is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business at the University of Rochester. She hopes to pursue a career in Human Resources and has interned at University of Rochester's Human Resource Development Department, Paychex's Recruiting Department, and BAE System's Recruiting Department. By interning for Study Abroad Poland, Nicole hopes to expand on her interest and experience in the field of recruiting.
